Areen Stonecraft have been trading since 1991. We are importers of a beautiful range of world granites, seven granites from the rich mineral fields of Saudi Arabia, and other countries from around the world. We currently stock twenty-five granites and one limestone.
The granites selected for our stock are all of a high quality and density, and are therefore most suitable for kitchen worktops, bar tops, vanity tops etc.
Areen are pleased to offer a granite worktop fabrication service to trade and kitchen retailers. On receipt of your faxed dimensioned kitchen plan, Areen promise to fax a quotation back to you within the working day.
We offer a full templating, delivery and fitting service nationwide with our turnaround being approximately 7 to 10 working days.

Granite is a remarkably versatile natural stone with a lustre and strong colouration. It can be cut and polished into the most intricate of shapes, yet is one of nature's toughest and most durable materials.
Smooth and hard, cool to your touch, there is a certain magic about granite that just cannot be reproduced by any other material. In addition, granite is such a hard stone it can take the very roughest and toughest treatment without care. Granite is ideal because it resists most acids and alkalines. It is not affected by vinegar, alcohol, fruit juices or many other staining liquids.
It is virtually scratch and heat resistant. Cutting on granite will deaden the blade of a knife long before the granite loses its sheen.To keep the polished surface looking good, just wipe over with a damp cloth and buff up with a clean dry cloth.
Granite is classed as an igneous magmatic rock, and was formed when the Earth's molten masses or magmas slowly cooled down and solidified. Granites consist mostly of feldspars and quartz besides containing smaller amounts of other minerals such as mica and hornblende.
